Scholarship application deadline is quickly approaching for Heartland Community College.

Associate Director of Public Information Steve Fast gave the date and information of how to apply.

“We have our scholarship application deadline coming up fairly soon. So if you’re looking for a scholarship to attend classes in the summer and fall, you need to get all your materials in by March 1. If you don’t know if you’re eligible for a scholarship, go online to heartland.edu and just even type in ‘scholarships’ in the search bar, there’s a survey that will help you determine your eligibility for various scholarships and find out if you can get some additional funding to take classes at Heartland,” Fast said.

Summer class registration at Heartland Community College is also quickly approaching.

Fast said people can sign up online and also find information about summer and fall classes, as well.

“We’re already registering on March 6 for summer classes. They’re still a few weeks away, but the schedule for summer classes is now out and if students are looking to meet with an advisor and thinking about classes for summer or fall, now is the best time to start to ask questions, figure out what you may need, what you might need to take to get to where you want to be, whether it be for certification, associate’s degree or vocational degree, you can call up the advisors now and figure out what classes you want to take in summer or fall,” Fast said.
