The Livingston County Historical Society will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at Pontiac City Hall and guest speaker for the evening is Gale Donze.

Donze is the manager and more of the Cornell Amity Township Museum, located at 510 Main Street in Cornell.

Society Vice President Brenda Thompson gave some information about what attendees will learn if they attend Thursday’s meeting.

“She has a lot of history about the township and Cornell area. She has Abraham Lincoln information. There are dolls. There are items that are dinosaur related. With help from Dave Sullivan, she’s going to take us on a virtual tour of the museum, so that you can see what it’s like and maybe decided to go see it when it’s open on Sunday afternoons and see it in person,” Thompson said.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
