The Pontiac Bible Church is holding their Easter Egg Hunt Saturday from 9-11 at the church, located at 1611 W. Reynolds Street.
Associate Pastor Nick Feldman explained the day’s events.
“In addition for the actual Easter Egg hunt that will be going on for different aged kids, we’re going to have different prizes and that sort of thing that will be going on and we have some really fun games we’re looking forward to. There are some games that make sense for kids, there are some crafts, there are some bunny hops, which is kind of hop scotch, but not like hop scotch because it’s Easter Hop Scotch. So we’ve got that, but we’ve got, even for some older kids and for some grownups, I think everyone can appreciate a three person sling shot with a really big target you can be aiming at,” Feldman said.
Feldman also explained the cost and purpose for the hunt.
“It’s free. This is just a gift for the community. The goal with PBC is just try to have something for the community. Everybody can come be involved. There’s no agenda. There’s no push. We just care about Pontiac and the surrounding area and we’re just trying to have a lot of fun. We know Easter is the time when people do a lot of great family stuff and we’d love to be a part of it. That’s all we’re doing,” Feldman said.
Feldman was a guest on a recent Community Forum, where he talks more about this event. That can be found at WJEZ.com.
