The Kidsnic Family Night Fundraiser is happening at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center from 6 to 9:30 Saturday, April 28.
Organizer Rodney Perkins explains why they are looking to raise money.
“Raising money for the main event, we have a surprise for you. This is our last year, not for Kidsnic, but we’re going back home to Chautauqua Park. That’ll be our 20th year. This is our 19th year at the Duck Park. So, we’ll be shutting down three blocks, roping off the river for your children’s protection, and we’ll have lots of games and this and that and the other out there, so you won’t want to miss that (June 24th) but we need your help to make it happen,” Perkins said.
The evening will have entertainment, a meal and a 50/50 raffle.
“We’re going to have on that night, music by Jay by Jay and Company. We’re going to have a photo booth by Kari Lee Photo. We have food catered by the Old Log Cabin. Our kids, the Kidsnic Kids, will be doing The Little Rascals, but it’s Kidsnic Kids vs. The Little Rascals. It’s our story based on The Little Rascals,” Perkins said.
Tickets are $25 per adult and $1 per child and can be bought by calling Perkins at 822-0510 or Meisha Nelson at 630-550-9919.
