More families in Illinois could be eligible for free and reduced school lunches.
The USDA increased the eligibility to a family of four making up to $32,630 a year, or $650 more than last year.
Reduced-price lunch is available for families making up to $46,400 a year, $1,000 more than last year.
The Illinois State Board of Education is encouraging families to check to see if they qualify.
