Redevelopment efforts continue at Pontiac’s Vermillion Plaza with new businesses and attractions being discussed.

With attractions like the Basketball Museum of Illinois another addition might include a large-scale model space shuttle.  With the plaza being private property there aren’t set details to the additions.

The city’s only link to the redevelopment is a special 1 percent taxing district set up in the plaza.
