Pontiac will visit Rochester Saturday in the 2nd round of the high school football playoffs.  The pregame on WJEZ begns at 5:25pm.

High School Volleyball-

Flanagan-Cornell faces Hartsburg-Emden tonight at 6:30 in Super-Sectional action at Lexington.

College Football-

The Fighting Illini will battle the Minnesota Gophers Saturday.  Illinois is 3 & 5 on the season.  Coverage on WJEZ begins at 1:30pm.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward let the deadline pass for exercising an opt-out provision in his contract.  Heyward keeps the $184 million, eight-year deal that pays him $106 million in the next five seasons.
