The Pontiac softball team keeps moving toward the state finals.

After trailing for the first time this postseason, the Indians were able to come back Friday afternoon and beat Geneseo 4-2 to win the class 3A Peoria Notre Dame Sectional Softball Tournament  at the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria.

The win moves their overall record to 31-4, and now they await Bishop McNamara at the IWU Supersectional.

The game is set for 4:30 Monday afternoon (6/3), and will be carried live in an exclusive webcast on WJBC.com.
