The Livingston County Health Department is reporting that the period from September 8th through the 13th saw 150 new COVID-19 infections in the area. That changes the county’s overall total to 5,570 positive cases. 156 cases remain active and 93 people have died from complications related to the disease.

The health department says the best protection from the disease is vaccination. Free vaccines are administered at the health department Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged for these clinics, especially for those under the age of 18.
