Once of the best basketball coaches in the state is Tony Dunlap.   Coach Dunlap has been the head basketball coach of Lanark Eastland for 22 years.   He even has a connection with Pontiac.    In 1993 he was coaching a grade school team who lost one game that year, to Pontiac Junior High who went on to win the State Championship that year.  Recently, Coach had his 2010 team over for a hog roast, with him it’s all about team. His team finished fourth in the state that year. His boy was hurt down state, and probably would have won it, but with him there are no excuses.   Coach Dunlap is a Hall of Famer now, but if you’re going to play for him it’s 110% all the time. Even on vacation I love talking to the great ones and he truly is.  Coach good luck to Lanark Eastland this year.
