The Fighting Illini started very slow last night in the match-up against Purdue. However, by the end of the 1st half, the energy was flying. Malcolm Hill hit a huge 3-pointer to give the Illini a 2-point lead at halftime. The two teams then went back and forth in the 2nd half, but Illinois went on to win the ball game, 66-57. Malcolm Hill led Illinois with 18 points, while Leron Black scored 15 points with 13 rebounds. Illinois will be on the road this Saturday to Minnesota.
