The Fairbury American Legion Speedway is proud to introduce a new race class this year called Hobby Mod.  The speedway will race this class 10 weekends in the upcoming 2015 race season.  This special class is for drivers who want to own a stock car that is actually affordable.  Fairbury resident, Tim Mcguire, has a car ready to go and 5 other racers are already looking forward to running in Fairbury this year.  Matt Curl, race director of the speedway, was on the morning sports show earlier today talking about this new class, and he is hopeful that it will grow over time.
