Today is the final day of preschool and kindergarten screenings for the Pontiac District 429. Screenings are being held at the First Baptist Church located at 515 North Ladd Street. Screenings are from 8 this morning until 4 this afternoon and are divided by age groups from kindergarten-aged children down to birth. Children will be screened by a teacher after parents fill out a developmental questionnaire. Upon completion of the screening, parent and child with meet with a social worker to go over the child’s results.
