Being a lifetime Cubs fan, this series doesn’t surprise me. Playoff baseball is simple – it’s all about pitching. The series shows great New York arms, with young Cubs making a lot of mistakes. It’s not over until it’s over, but it doesn’t look good for the Cubs. I would hope this off-season, the Cubs do one thing: get pitching, pitching and more pitching because that’s where it is at. Remember Cub fans, it’s hard to get to the playoffs. The Cards, Pirates and Reds will be better next year as well.
