Trunk or Treat, sponsored by Streator Onized Credit Union, CAT Young Professionals and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police is happening tonight from 6 to 8.

Diana Iverson, Senior Loan officer for SOCU, said the event will be a fun one for families.

“It’s a safe alternative for going door-to-door trick or treating. The vehicles will be decorated for the Halloween event and the kids will go trunk-to-trunk and receive treats, whether candy or trinkets. It’s just a fun way to not have to get in and out of a vehicle 50 times to go trick or treating,” Iverson said.

The event will take place in the west parking lot at Caterpillar in 4-H Park Road in Pontiac.
