Staton, does that name ring a bell? If you guessed one of the star basketball players at Michigan in the 70’s, you are correct. Michigan was loaded with talent back than, and they played the game the right way. The Pontiac 66ers have a Thomas Staton, his son. Thomas was recruited by Michigan and Michigan State. We are lucky to have Thomas. He’s another one of my players that is great on and off the floor. This Staton has a bright future in the game of basketball. Like all the players he will look for a DNBA team, or Overseas, and that is what the MPBA is all about.
