Whether a hockey game or concert, Bloomington’s US Cellular Coliseum will be implementing additional security measures for all future events.

Beginning today, certain items will be prohibited inside the facility, including weapons of any kind, chain belts, pocket knives or any other hazardous or potentially dangerous items. Bags larger than 13X15X6 will not be permitted inside the building and any bags, purses or personal items of any size will be subject to search.

For some events, hand-held security wanding will be used on all patrons entering the facility. Some additional screening may be required.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for entry.
