The MPBA is alive and well

mark story

The Pontiac 66ers started with 18 last December for training camp, and now there are only 3 left from that group.  I have watched players get cut, fly to Mongolia, Germany, El Salvador and Peru. Just last week we know we have been told that the MPBA is watched all over the country. Later this week with 7 games left, we will fly one of the top assist leaders in the country in, and a 6’5″ forward. Coach Robinson has done a amazing job bringing talent in all over the country. More importantly the Pontiac 66ers is more about basketball, it’s about giving back. The MPBA is alive and well. With Ed Schumer and Buzz Zeller as owners of the league, it looks to do nothing but grow more next year.
