Two men were taken into custody by Pontiac Police Friday in connection with a theft that occurred at Pontiac Walgreens April 8.

According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, two Chicago men, ages 23 and 26, visited Walgreens again Friday and an employee recognized the pair as the two identified from the theft. That employee called police and the two were taken in. They are facing possible charges of theft in excess of $300, which is a felony.

The incident remains under investigation by the Pontiac Police and other jurisdictions.

Davis said this theft is not believed to be associated with the April 22 overnight break-in that occurred at Walgreens.
