IHR in Pontiac is now offering a new parenting class on Wednesday evenings.

Joe Vaughan, executive director of IHR, was a guest on a recent community forum and explained while they have conducted parenting classes at the facility in the past, this new way to do them seems to be easier for busy parents and guardians.

“We thought let’s make it easier, because essentially parents want answers to their specific question. Let’s open a forum where Deb is available and people can come in. It’s open, people don’t have to sign up for anything. We hold it every Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 out at IHR and you come in and talk about the specific issues you’re having with your kids and Deb is there as a resource to give some advice and guidance,” Vaughan said.
