A Pontiac man is facing possible criminal charges after a Tuesday morning arrest.

According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, Anthony L. Smith was arrested on aggravated battery and home invasion charges after he allegedly entered a residence in the 400 block of East Water Street. While inside, Smith is said to have confronted another male, who received minor knife wounds to his arm.

Smith was taken to the Livingston County Jail pending a bond hearing.
