A free concert is happening at the Pontiac First United Methodist Church this evening at 7 p.m.

“Music from a Violinist’s Heart – Music Composed by Violinists for Violinists” will feature Karin Kelleher, Laura Hourt and Carol Wallace, and Kelleher said it’s a family friendly concert that everyone will enjoy.

“While all my programs are grounded in the classical world, I try to create programs so there’s interest for everyone. They’re generally short and there’s a lot of variety and historical background. I try to keep it audience friendly,” Kelleher said.

Admission is free, but people are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Livingston County Community Pantry.
