The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department held an awards ceremony June 24 to recognize several county officers, as well as correctional officers, LivCom telecommunicators and other officers from surrounding departments.
Mike Glowacki was promoted to Captain and Cody Fosdick was named Deputy of the Year and Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress explained the rest of the awards.
“There was a total of 32 awards given. The awards were given not only to deputies in the sheriff’s department, but to some correctional officers in the jail, as well as some officers from the Pontiac Police Department, and some of our officers for assisting Pontiac Police and Fairbury Police,” Childress said.
Childress will be a guest on a future Community Forum, where he will detail the awards given.
