The Livingston County Board met last night and discussed the fate of the building that housed the former Livingston Manor.
Chairman Marty Fannin explains.
“We put a request for purchase out for the property, but we got no one (interested,) so we had to move in the other direction, so we’ve gotten a bid for the asbestos removal to see what it’s going to cost and hire the people. As soon as (Good Samaritan) is out, we’re going to get the asbestos removed and in the next year’s budget, we’re putting in the money to demolish the old Livingston Manor,” Fannin said.
Fannin was a guest on this morning’s Community Forum with Todd Wineburner where he further details the meeting. That is available in our podcast section.
