The Pontiac Salvation Army will be giving away school supplies Wednesday through Friday this week from 9 to noon.

Director Linda Voorheis explains what students will get, along with what people need to bring with them to qualify.

“School supplies include pens, pencils, glue, glue sticks, markers, paper, spiral notebooks, erasers, rulers, index cards – all sorts of things. They need to show a medical card. That works the best, because the all children are listed on it. If they don’t have a medical card, I need to see a social security card and a link card,” Voorheis explained.
