Streator Onized Credit Union is celebrating five years in their new building in Pontiac with a week of events, beginning with today’s Cash Cab in downtown Pontiac at noon.

Diana Iverson, senior loan officer at SOCU, explained how people can get involved.

“We will be driving around looking for people who look like they might know some things about Pontiac or the credit union or any other businesses in town. That starts at noon. Look for our colorful SOCU automobile. We’ll be out holding a banner, trying to get people who are interested. I’ve heard there are people interested already, so get there early,” Iverson said.

The Radio Pontiac crew will be along for the ride during this event
