In the Rio Olympics, U.S. women’s gymnastics took the team gold, in the pool Michael Phelps earned his 20th and 21st gold medals as Katie Ledecky won the 200 free, U.S. women’s soccer took a sloppy 2-2 draw with Colombia and will face Sweden in the quarterfinals on Friday, and number one Serena Williams was eliminated in the third round of tennis.
Illinois Wesleyan has named former Illinois State player and IWU assistant Tiffany Prager as head softball coach and Benjamin Stone as men’s tennis coach.
