The Livingston County Farm Bureau is holding a Landowner information meeting concerning solar farms at 6 p.m. Monday, August 29, at the Dwight Village Hall.

Manager Jody Hughes explains what will be discussed during this meeting.

“We are going to have our attorneys with the Illinois Farm Bureau. They’re going to come in and explain from their experience, what’s in the contracts and what you should watch for, just their advice. We’re hearing quite a few of our farmers are getting contacted for these contracts, so we’re always here and we want to make sure our farmers are informed and aware of what they’re signing before they sign it,” Hughes said.

Dwight Village Hall is located at 209 S. Prairie Street.
