The Livingston County Humane Society is holding a special adoption drive during the month of September.
Director Karen Gregory said the MVP program is a chance to highlight some of the adoptable animals at the humane society.
“We’re thinking our animals are baseball all stars, basketball all stars and swimmers. Whatever. They’re definitely the most valuable player. We’re offering discounted adoption fees for many of those who have been in the shelter for quite awhile. We’re putting that on the website and we’ll also have it posted out at the shelter to give these animals an opportunity to get into homes,” Gregory said.
