With the announcement of the cancellation of the 67th annual Thresherman’s Reunion, PROUD wanted to help displaced flea market vendors.
Pam Burnett, volunteer for PROUD, said the organization decided to extend an offer to take on those wishing to sell their wares, only this time during the Saturday Downtown Farmers Market.
“Normally, you have to have things that are grown or hand-made. Due to the circumstances, we’re allowing flea market vendors to come in. It is $15 for a spot for the day. They can start setting up at 6 and cannot sell before 7. It goes until 11 or if they want to stay later, they can stay later,” Burnett said.
