The Pontiac Caterpillar plant gave a tour Thursday to share a look at the new expansion happening.

Susan Toher, product manager for Pontiac Caterpillar, expands on the new additions.

“Some of the work we’re bringing in is similar to the work we’ve had before – machining, assembly and heat treatment. It’s expanding basically what we were doing before, but these after treatment products are completely new to Pontiac. We’ve already hired 80 people and we expect to hire at least 80 more,” Toher said.
