Pontiac Redeveloping Our United Downtown, more commonly known as PROUD, has a new interim director.

Jessica Finkenbinder took the helm in August and says she looks forward to building and planning activities for the group.

“I’m really excited for this new position. I’m hoping it turns into something more, so I can get more events and get more businesses involved and get more people excited,” Finkenbinder said.

Finkenbinder is currently attending school at Lewis University in Romeoville, with a double major in business administration and marketing.
