The Evergreen Cemetery Walk began last weekend in Bloomington, but just what is a cemetery walk?

Reese Lovell, artistic director for the Walk, was a guest on a recent Community Forum and explained how it all works.

“Guided tours are taken through the cemetery and along the way, you meet people who are buried there. Many of them are well known people, most of them are not. I’m of the opinion that everyone has a fascinating story to tell, so then it becomes the writer’s job to sift through all the archival material and find what is the most interested chapter of this person’s life that I want to tell?” said Lovell.
