WJEZ is holding a free flu clinic with Bank of Pontiac and the Livingston County Public Health Department Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at the WJEZ studios at 215 N. Mill Street.
Our very own Cat has more.
“This is the first ever flu clinic that the Radio Pontiac crew has put on. We’re hoping to make this an annual thing and we’re lucky to be able to partner with the Bank of Pontiac and the Livingston County Public Health Department, because getting a flu shot is a serious thing. About 36,000 people a year die from the flu, so if we can make it easier for people to get one really quick, that’s what we want to do and we’re happy to invite people here and we’ll give you a little tour of the studios while you’re here,” Cat said.
Not only does everyone get a Smiley Face Cookie, but the first ten people who get their flu shots get a free prize.
