Pontiac Junior High School is hosting its fall food drive, which runs through November 23.
Non-perishable food items will be collected from each study hall group during school hours. They are also accepting monetary donations to help purchase Thanksgiving meals from County Market for families in need.
Both programs have proven very successful throughout the past years, and this year, the goal is to collect 5,000 items.
The items will be delivered to the Livingston County Food Pantry, Baptist Church food pantry and St. Vincent DePaul food pantry. For more information, contact the junior high by calling 842-4343.
