OSF Center for Health – Streator, in a partnership with Streator Fire Department, are bringing the Vial of Life program to Streator.

This is a plastic bottle with a patient’s extensive medical history printed inside, then placed in his or her refrigerator, where any emergency responder can find it.

Streator residents can get a free Vial of Life by request or by attending the open house at the Streator Fire Department from 11 to 1 Saturday. EMTs and fire crews will also distribute the vials when on emergency calls.
