The Livingston County Board met Thursday evening and gave several resolutions of appreciation for outgoing county employees.
Those employees included past coroner Mike Burke, circuit clerk Judy Cremer, state’s attorney Seth Uphoff and county board members Bill Flott and William Peterson.
Chairman Marty Fannin explained some measures that were also approved during the meeting.
“A couple things tonight that were passed – we passed out budget. That’s always good to hear and always good to have happen. The other thing, is we passed the WECS moratorium. It’s a moratorium on anymore wind farms being built until we get the ordinance back from the Zoning Board of Appeals for us to approve or make any changes to,” Fannin said.
Fannin’s Community Forum where he further explains details from this meeting will be available in the podcast section at wjez.com later today.
