PONTIAC - Members of the Pontiac City Council received a lesson on the art of gilding Monday night.
Representatives from the International Society of Gilders told the council they want their collection housed and showcased in Pontiac.

FORREST - The Forrest Methodist Church will hold an all-you-can eat soup supper tonight.
The meal will include chili, vegetable and chicken noodle soup with pie and ice cream. Adults are $6 and those 12 and under are $3. Carry outs will be available.
Man faces sex offender charge
PONTIAC - A Pontiac man is charged with unlawful failure to register an address change as a sex offender.
Livingston County prosecutors say Jory Quick, 24, has a previous felony conviction and could face an extended prison term, if convicted of the current charge.
