A benefit for the family of Katherine Duda is taking place tomorrow at the VFW in Pontiac.

Livingston County Corrections Sgt. Jason Durham and Jenny Martin, who are organizing the event, were guests on a recent Community Forum and described the events taking place during the benefit.

“We have a silent auction, 50/50, plenty of things for the kids to do, there will be a DJ from 1 to 5 with Frankie Underwood and a live band – Breaking Storm – from 5 to 9,” Martin said.

Duda was killed in a car accident near Long Point on July 23 while driving to work.
